Just a quick post to wish everyone a belated happy 4th of July! Long weekends are the best!
My mother-in-law's birthday is July 3 so we always have built-in plans for this holiday, which makes planning easy and gives us an extra reason to celebrate! Along with my 4th of July piece I created with Tombow dual brush pens here are some pics of our birthday lunch/4th of July place settings - I love using paper place mats as place cards by writing directly on them. I used my point pen and Dr. ph Martin's copperplate gold ink, which is my gold ink of choice. There are funny shadows every time I try to photograph something in my in-laws' dining room but I did my best to get some decent shots, because I love how these rainbow place mats look with gold ink on them.
