Custom Hand-Drawn Silhouette with Calligraphy
Typical turnaround time 2-3 weeks after I receive your photos.
Capture your loved one's profile with a bespoke hand-drawn silhouette by Beth Hunt. Simply email a profile photo of your child/loved one/pet , and I will draw their likeness in your color selection (please choose from selections in this listing) and add a first name below in hand-written calligraphy. Each piece of original artwork is printed locally on 5x7 or 8x10 matte white cardstock. Frames are not included and are shown for display purposes only. Please see separate listings for extra copies (which make great grandparent gifts!).
How to take your photograph:
-Take your shot on a plain background, preferably a white or light color, solid background
-Make sure it is a profile shot and that the photo quality is crisp, not blurry
-Take care that your child's face is in the position you want him or her drawn - ideally they are looking straight ahead with lips relaxed and slightly parted
-Having trouble getting small children to sit still for a good pic? Let them watch a favorite show or have another person read them a story while you snap away.
-For individuals with long hair we recommend pulling it into a ponytail or bun, or placing hair behind the shoulders
-By sending us this photo you give Beth Hunt the right to use your photo as a reference for the drawing
-Send your photo to studio@bethhuntdesigns.com and we will have your silhouette ready within 2-3 weeks!
