Design & Studio Manager

Beth Hunt Designs is looking for a Design & Studio Manager to join our growing business. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills for nurturing client and vendor relationships, a firm command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for graphic design of custom printed products, and excellent organizational skills for shepherding projects from start to finish. A growth mentality, personal motivation, and passion for excellence are necessary for success in this position.

 

In this role, you will:

• Develop strong relationships through ongoing communication with wedding clients, planners, and vendors. This will be accomplished via phone, email and in-person meetings

• Realize Beth’s creative direction through graphic design of wedding stationery and printed party products such as cups, napkins, seating charts, etc.

• Design, place and fulfill orders for the above items and other products, including but not limited to Beth’s lines of silk scarves and wholesale stationery products

• Simultaneously manage multiple projects with different timelines 

• Quality check, assemble and mail client wedding suites with precision and care

• Proofread envelopes that Beth has addressed in calligraphy

• Graphic design for organic and paid media such as print, social and digital as well as graphic design and execution of promotional items such as branded boxes and printed items for wedding planner and venue outreach 

• Maintain a highly functional office environment by ordering and organizing supplies, improving systems when needed, running errands, and managing project workflows

 

Skills and Capabilities:

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

• Must be able to read cursive and calligraphy

• Excellent spelling and proofreading

• Must love interacting with people

• Desire to move quickly and with accuracy in a fast paced environment 

• Growth mindset and motivation to problem solve

• You will work in close proximity with a very lovable dog
