I went outside with my kids last week and was amazed at how big and beautiful my rosebushes were blooming! They bloomed all of a sudden and were just breathtaking. It got me thinking about taking time out to appreciate all the little things - pretty flowers, a good cup of coffee, a call from a friend, or whatever it may be.
I had the most wonderful Mother's Day with my family this past weekend. I had the privilege of getting to create several Mother's Day presents for clients this year that I hope made someone's day special, too.
Here are a few of the pieces that I got to create. The Proverbs 3:5-6 commission was poignant because that is a verse I have clung to so much this past year. Not a great pic of the gold...my photos rarely do gold ink justice!
As the week gets busy, remember to stop and smell the roses!
