Chalkboard Wall Calligraphy

I had the pleasure of adding this cute saying to Epicure Day Spa's chalkboard wall and wanted to show some of the process of how I bring a large calligraphy piece to life!

Step 1: I began with a mock up design prepared using pencil and paper {not pictured}.

Step 2: I transferred that design onto the chalkboard wall, sketching it out lightly in chalk first.

Step 3: Then I went over it using a gold Sharpie paint pen to create the final permanent design.

Step 4: Lastly, I clean up the lines and erased any stray chalkboard marks.

Now, who could go for a spa day at Epicure? I sure could!
